Ways to ship cargo from Turkey to Russia

Sea freight

Departures from the ports of Ambarlı, Istanbul, Gebze, Izmir and Mersin. Arrivals in Novorossiysk and other Russian Black Sea ports, as well as Saint Petersburg. Suits 20’/40’ containers and LCL.

Road freight

Road freight uses transit routes through Eastern Europe, including routes via Poland or European logistics hubs. It is used for groupage, pallets and equipment. Collection is available from Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara and Bursa.

Air freight

Departures from Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen (SAW). Arrivals in Moscow: Sheremetyevo (SVO) or Domodedovo (DME). Used for urgent consignments, samples and small-volume goods.

Multimodal routes

Sea + road or sea + rail combinations. A common option: Ambarlı — Novorossiysk — road delivery to Moscow or the regions. Suits consignments where the balance of price and transit time matters, and shipments from inland Turkey.

Popular goods from Turkey

Imports from Turkey to Russia keep growing, and we regularly ship consignments for wholesalers, retailers and marketplace sellers. The main categories are:

Textiles and clothing

Footwear and accessories

Household goods

Spare parts and components

Groupage shipping from Turkey

We receive consignments from different suppliers at our Istanbul warehouse, combine them into one shipment and prepare the document set for the consolidated cargo.

After consolidation, we choose the right route: road LTL for small volumes or sea LCL for larger consignments.

Before dispatch, we inspect the cargo and prepare it for shipping to Russia.

How it works

  1. Quote and approval: we take your cargo details and work out the route and price.
  2. Paperwork and preparation: we draw up the contract, gather the documents and agree the dispatch.
  3. Receipt and consolidation: we collect the cargo from the supplier, inspect and label it and prepare it for loading.
  4. Transport: we ship the cargo by the chosen mode and monitor its progress.
  5. Customs clearance: we clear the goods and prepare all the paperwork needed in Russia.
  6. Delivery and handover: we deliver to the consignee's warehouse or address and hand the cargo over
